The dining room is our central area. Light, warm and cosy, the dining room leads to the large conservatory overlooking the gardens. Both rooms are carpeted, and the heating is kept at a pleasant temperature throughout the year. Morning coffee and afternoon teas are usually served in the conservatory, or can be served in a resident’s room or lounge.
Here at Centenary House, we are proud of our cooking and mealtimes. The menu reflects the likes of the residents, who are all individually asked about their preferences, in an attempt to accommodate as many favourites as possible. There are always two choices of hot food for both lunch and dinner, although individual requests will always be accommodated. All meals are served in the dining room, with staff on hand to assist if needed.
The menus at Centenary House change with the seasons. We ensure the highest quality of ingredients to make nutritionally balanced meals for our residents. We can cater for all sorts of special diets and are more than happy to help out with advice and guidance.
